How it works

You describe your release once: what it actually is, the genres it belongs in, the ones it plainly does not, and the size of curator worth your time. Your agent then searches for outlets that fit, reads playlist descriptions and channel pages for a submission address, and records each outlet's own website. It does not browse to those websites, because a separate step fetches them over plain HTTP for a fraction of a cent, and it prefers a press or submissions address over whatever generic one it finds first. If a curator charges for placement it tells you the price rather than hiding it, and it flags follower counts that look inflated, because those are the people you would end up paying.

The pitches are short and specific. Each one opens on a real track it saw on that playlist, and it can only state facts you put in your profile, so it cannot invent a stream count, a placement or a credit. If you gave it no proof points it writes the pitch without one. If you named a genuine local connection it uses that, and if you did not it never pretends there is one. It never guesses an email address, so an outlet with no reachable contact comes back empty rather than fabricated. Everything is drafted for you to read first, and nothing sends until you say so. It runs over your business's own connection, so there is no proxy to buy or configure.

Attach the released workflow nodo-playlist-outreach to my business.

Before anything else, check my business has a device with both the browser and CLI capabilities. The finder needs the browser because Spotify is a JavaScript app, and the contact step and sender need the CLI. There is no proxy to set up, it runs over my own connection.

Then help me fill in two resources. First artist_profile: my artist name, the first name that signs my emails, a short honest bio, the release I am pitching and its link, what the record actually is in one phrase, its main genre, the adjacent genres it would credibly sit in, the narrow ones it plainly is not, any credits that are true and checkable, and any real local connection I have to a market. Also ask me about audience_min and audience_max, because the defaults of 1000 and 50000 decide which curators are worth a slot and the right range depends on where I am in my career.

If I want to target a specific country, ask me for real search phrases in that country's own language, because searching only in English is why regional runs come back empty. Give each market a short name like portugal.

Second outreach_smtp_account: a dedicated mailbox to send from, not my main inbox. This needs an app password, not my account password, and for Gmail two-factor has to be switched on first or the app password screen does not exist. I will enter the password myself in the Nodo settings, so do not ask me for it in chat.

Run it once with auto_send false and show me the drafted pitches before anything goes out.

Important when running: the markets I defined are only used if you pass region_focus with that market's short name at run time. Left at the default of global, my local search phrases are never used and I will wonder why the regional targeting does nothing. So if I set up markets, run at least one batch per market with region_focus set to it.

Once I am happy, set auto_send true. Rotate target_mode across runs (playlist, blog, youtube, instagram, peer_radar) for a wider spread, and keep batch_size small at first.

Curators do reply, so tell me about the nodo-outreach-reply-responder-wf template as well, since it answers them from this same mailbox.
